This is a leadership position that combines education, team management, parent relationships, and business operations. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and families, can confidently lead a team of educators, and takes ownership of delivering an exceptional learning experience.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a natural problem-solver, and someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Student Programs & Academic Leadership

  • Oversee individualized learning programs and monitor student progress.
  • Conduct student assessments and explain results to parents.
  • Ensure teachers follow Oxford Learning's instructional methods and curriculum.
  • Identify opportunities to improve student outcomes and learning experiences.

Parent Communication & Enrollment

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with students and families.
  • Conduct parent consultations and regular progress meetings.
  • Respond to inquiries and guide prospective families through the enrollment process.
  • Address parent concerns professionally and proactively.
  • Support student retention and enrollment growth.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise part-time teachers.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support.
  • Maintain a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing and classroom coverage.

Centre Operations

  • Manage daily centre operations, scheduling, and administrative processes.
  • Maintain accurate student records and program documentation.
  • Coordinate assessments, student schedules, and parent meetings.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including enrollment, retention, and student progress.
  • Work with ownership to identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Post-secondary education in Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience in education, program coordination, operations, or team leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence communicating with parents and managing staff.
  • Ability to prioritize, solve problems, and work independently.
  • Genuine interest in helping children succeed academically.

Preferred:

  • Experience in tutoring, teaching, educational leadership, or learning centre management.
  • Experience supervising and developing a team.
  • Familiarity with elementary and secondary school curricula.
  • Experience in customer service, enrollment, or relationship management.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually, depending on experience.
  • Performance bonus: Opportunity to earn an additional $12,000–$15,000 annually based on centre performance.
  • Total potential compensation: Approximately $72,000–$80,000 annually.
  • Extended health benefits.
  • Paid vacation.
  • Comprehensive training in Oxford Learning's programs and systems.
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth.

Job Type: Full-time, in-person

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday afternoons and evenings
  • The schedule aligns with student programming

Who We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in someone who can take ownership of the centre, rather than simply complete assigned administrative tasks.

You should be comfortable making decisions, leading a team, communicating with families, and ensuring the centre operates smoothly.

While experience in education is valuable, we're equally interested in candidates with strong leadership, operational management, and customer relationship experience who are enthusiastic about learning Oxford Learning's educational approach.
