Position Responsibilities

As the Education Coordinator, you will play an essential role in the day-to-day operations of the centre. You will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and the Centre Director to help create a positive and productive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Informing prospective families about Oxford Learning programs and services
• Organizing and managing schedules for students, teachers, and staff
• Setting up and administering student assessments
• Developing, monitoring, and overseeing individualized student learning programs
• Maintaining regular communication with parents and conducting progress meetings
• Supporting students and teachers to help foster a fun, energetic, and encouraging learning environment
• Learning and implementing the Oxford Learning teaching philosophy
• Coaching and supporting teaching staff members

Qualifications

We encourage applicants to apply if they meet most of the following qualifications:

Education

• Minimum university degree required
• Credits or background in Social Sciences, Languages, Mathematics, or Business are considered strong assets
• Strong secondary school math skills are an asset

Experience & Skills

• Experience working in an educational environment with medium to large student populations
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online communication platforms
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable speaking with families over the phone and in person
• Sales experience is considered an asset
• Bilingualism in French and English is required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20 – $22 / hour

Schedule (Non-Negotiable)

September – June

• Monday – Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

July – August

• Monday – Thursday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
