About the Role

Gain valuable teaching and leadership experience! Work with kids and their families to help students of all ages achieve academic success. Our programs impart new approaches to learning that last a lifetime. We teach students from preschool to post-secondary how to learn, concentrate, listen, remember, and most importantly, believe in themselves as they reach their academic goals.

This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online job. Relocation packages are not available.

Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.


Key Responsibilities

This in-person role requires the ability to commute to our location and pass a Vulnerable Sector Screening. As the Education Coordinator, you will be a key part of our centre’s operations. Working closely with the Centre Director, you’ll take ownership of creating an impactful learning environment, constantly seeking ways to enhance operations and support the centre's growth. This role requires a commitment of 20-25 hours per week, with a consistent schedule that may include opportunities for additional hours based on centre needs and candidate availability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Informing and guiding parents about Oxford Learning programs

  • Organizing schedules for students, staff, and teachers

  • Administering assessments and tracking student progress

  • Establishing and overseeing student learning programs

  • Communicating regularly with parents about their child’s achievements and areas for improvement

  • Ensuring the Oxford Learning philosophy is upheld at all times

  • Creating a fun, energetic learning space and adapting to the needs of students, staff, and families

  • Mastering and coaching others on Oxford Learning’s teaching philosophy

  • Demonstrating commitment to professional growth with a path toward the Education Director role


Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum university degree (credits in Social Sciences, Languages, Math, or Business preferred)

  • Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset

  • Additional languages spoken are an asset

  • Self-starter with the ability to identify and implement improvements in student programs and operations

Experience:

  • Background in an educational setting with medium to large student groups

  • Experience with Oxford Learning or a similar organization preferred

  • Business or office administration experience is an asset

  • Strong computer skills (Google Suite, online communication tools)

  • Excellent phone manner and customer service skills

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time (minimum 20 hours per week)

Salary: $20 - $22 / hour
