Centre Director (Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunity)

About the Role

As Centre Director, you’ll play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the centre. You’ll work closely with students, parents, teachers, and staff to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

This is an in-person position located in Caledonia, Ontario. Applicants must be able to commute to the centre. This is not a remote position, and relocation assistance is not available.

Vulberable sector screening is mandatory.

Responsibilities

As Centre Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming families and explaining Oxford Learning programs to prospective parents
• Organizing schedules for students, teachers, and staff
• Administering and coordinating student assessments
• Developing and overseeing individualized learning programs
• Building relationships within the local community, including schools, sports organizations, and businesses
• Meeting regularly with parents to discuss student progress
• Ensuring the Oxford Learning philosophy and teaching methods are consistently upheld
• Creating a fun, energetic, and encouraging learning environment
• Coaching and supporting teaching staff in Oxford Learning methodologies
• Supporting the overall daily operations and growth of the centre

Qualifications

We encourage you to apply if you meet most of the following qualifications:

Education

• University Degree or college duploma or post secondary equivalent
• Strong secondary school math skills are considered an asset
• Additional languages are an asset

Experience & Skills

• Experience working in an educational setting or similar fast-paced environment
• Leadership or team management experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office and online communication tools
• Customer service experience required; sales experience is an asset
• Professional and confident phone manner
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
• Salary/Compensation: $24 – $29 / hour
• Schedule: To be determined based on operational needs and candidate availability
