This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys numbers and equations, and is passionate about helping others build their skills in these areas.

About Us:
At Oxford Learning Forest Hill, we are passionate about inspiring a love of learning in young children. Our programs focus on developing strong foundational skills in reading, phonics, and math, helping students build confidence and excel academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach early reading, phonics, and math to kindergarten and elementary students (up to grade 8).
  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment tailored to individual student needs.
  • Use the Oxford Learning curriculum and teaching methods to deliver effective lessons.
  • Provide feedback on student progress through Lesson Planner Reviews (LPRs).
  • Work collaboratively with the Education Coordinator and other teachers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children in teaching, coaching, or after-school programs.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) certification is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young learners.
  • Passionate about education and committed to helping students succeed.

Availability:

  • Must be available Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
