Part-Time Math Education Coordinator
*Must live in Oakville, Missisauga, Burlington, Etobicoke, or have a commute that is less than 30 minutes from Oakville.*
*Must have recent practice with using the Ontario curriculum and understand how to help students with foundational gaps in Math.* (This will be tested during the interview).
Oxford Learning Uptown-Core in Oakville is looking for a dynamic and motivated Math Education Coordinator to help students find their way to a better school future.

Job details:
This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online job. Relocation packages are not available.
Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
Responsibilities (Position Details):
As the Math Education Director you participate in the centre's operations, including working with multiple people from centre staff to teachers, to parents, and of course, the students! You will work directly with the Centre Director as a key staff member with the following responsibilities:
help inform parents about our Oxford Learning programs
organize schedules for students, staff, and teachers
set up and administer assessments
establish and oversee student learning programs
ensure that the Oxford Learning philosophy is being maintained throughout the centre
maintain contact with parents and meeting with them to discuss their child's progress
create a fun and energetic learning environment on a daily basis

Education:
Minimum university degree (Math preferred)
Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset
Experience:
Work in an educational environment dealing with medium to large student bodies
Work in a business environment is an asset
Strong phone skills and experience in customer service (experience in sales is preferred)
