Job details:
This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online job. No relocation package is offered. Must have the legal right to work in Canada. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
Responsibilities (Position Details):
As one of the the Education Coordinators, you will participate in the centre's operations, including working with multiple people from centre staff to teachers, to parents, and of course, the students! You will work directly with the other Education Coordinator and Centre Director as a key staff member with the following responsibilities:
help inform inquiring parents about our Oxford Learning programs
organize schedules for students, staff, and teachers
set up and administer cognitive and academic assessments and then create individualized programming for each student
establish and oversee student learning programs
liaise with members of the community (schools, sports teams, and local businesses)
maintain contact with parents and meeting with them to discuss their child's progress
ensure that the Oxford Learning philosophy is being maintained throughout the centre
create a fun and energetic learning environment on a daily basis
teach from time to time
effectively master the Oxford Learning Teaching philosophy as well as coach and train teaching staff

Education:
Minimum university degree (Focus in Education, Social Sciences, Languages, Math and Business preferred)
French is an asset
Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset
Experience/Skills:
Work in an educational environment dealing with medium to large student bodies
Work in a business environment is an asset
Strong computer skills (MS Office, online communication apps)
Strong phone skills and experience in customer service (experience in sales is preferred)
Requires strong English proficiency, orally and written
Ability to multi-task
Attention to detail is a must
Teaching Certification is an asset

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $49,000 - $50,000 / year

Schedule:
Monday-Thursday (two days opening starting at 8:30/9:00 am and two evenings closing, finishing at 8:15/8:30 pm)
Friday/Saturday availability (you would work every other Friday and Saturday)
